Several Vietnamese female students have won public attention after meeting US President Donald Trump and Alibaba Chairman Jack Ma.

On the evening of November 11, Pham Ngoc Ha My, a student of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam presented flowers to US President Donald Trump at Noi Bai International Airport during his state visit to Vietnam, at the invitation of President Tran Dai Quang.

    The presence of Ha My drew the attention of many photojournalists.

     Ha My has a good command of French and English. She is a former student of the Hanoi-Amsterdam high school for the gifted.

    On the afternoon of November 12, Phạm Thu Tra, a student of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam presented flowers to Party General Secretary and President Xi Jinping who arrived in Hanoi for a two-day state visit to Vietnam.

     Earlier in 2016, Tran My Linh, a student of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities had the great honour of presenting flowers to former US President Barack Obama during his official visit to Vietnam.
