The remark was made by designer Minh Hanh at a press conference in Hanoi on September 27.
The designer said that: “natural materials such as tussore and silk are ‘crowned’ because of their high adaptability and environmental friendliness. With the aim of developing the natural material and expanding the textile weaving villages, designers have been exploring and coordinating with artisans and producers to create natural materials, which are suitable to the requirements of the fashion market”.
The fashion week will introduce the latest spring and summer collections of 19 Vietnamese and Italian designers during three “Ready To Wear” nights and one “Haute Couture” night. The designs not only showcase creativity but also lean towards wearability.
The application of Vietnam's natural material at the Vietnam Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2018 is a new trend for consumers and fashion enterprises in developing the high fashion industry.
The first ‘Ready to wear’ show will introduce the collections of designer Tea Gelashvili from Italy and domestic designers, such Ngoc Han, Phuong Thanh, Duy Nguyen, Tran Thanh Man and Hung Viet.
Meanwhile the other shows will feature collections by designers Cao Minh Tien, Chula, Nguyen Thuy, Cong Huan, Huyen Nhung Nguyen, Cao Duy, Quang Huy, Ha Duy, Huu La La, Thanh Thuy and Minh Hanh, as well as Nhi Hoang and Hao Nguyen.
Among them, designer Tea Gelashvili, who attended the famous fashion design school Domusacad Emy, will introduce the hidden beauty of Italy in the costly details of the costumes through his unique collection.
