“I’m Miss Vietnam ’s first runner-up and I think I should take the responsibility of representing Vietnamese beauty at the international contest,” Dung said. “I will have to try my best.”
Dung is a fourth-year student at HCM Foreign Trade University. She is 1.72m tall and measures 84-61-90cm. She is fluent in English and Japanese.
First held in 1960, Miss International is among one of the oldest beauty pageants in the world. The first Vietnamese to participate in the contest was Truong Quynh Mai in 1995, who entered the top 15 and won the Best Traditional Costume category.
